The Bahnsen Project Board Request
Men,
In diligent and much prayer, I am very seriously considering the idea of moving toward a more full-time approach to the work of The Bahnsen Project - specifically in regard to transforming many of his audio lectures into finished, published written works available in print and e-reader format.
I feel I’m in good company in this endeavor. Not only as evidenced by the growing number in The Bahnsen Project Facebook Group who have expressed such interest, but also upon recently hearing Dr. John Frame’s remarks, which he gave at Dr. Bahnsen’s memorial service back in 1995:

“I grieve that we will not be able to hear any more of these debates or to see to what extent [Dr. Bahnsen] was really able to teach his students this practical apologetic. ...
I do hope that his work will go on. For one thing, I would urge his colleagues and friends to look through the hundreds of tapes and notes and articles that he’s written, to publish more volumes of his work.
Greg considered carefully almost every theological and apologetic issue there is, and did valuable work in church history and exegesis. As a fellow-laborer in this field, I deeply wish that on many of these subjects I had Greg’s thinking on all of these areas at my fingertips.”
-John M. Frame
Brothers, while some great and noteworthy steps have been made toward this goal, I think you will agree with me that there is still much work to be done.
I think it would be a great service, invaluable in my mind, to the church to provide many of Bahnsen’s lectures into a print and e-reader form. This would make it more accessible for theologians in referencing Bahnsen’s thoughts and insights, as well as give him a wider audience that otherwise not might be reached through only the available audio lectures.
Suffice it to say, this work is not easy. I have recently taken three days off from my full-time vocation to make better progress on the project. And I'm finally about 2/3rds done with the Book of Galatians.
I would greatly like to see this work progress much faster and am hoping that God will provide a way for me to do that full-time - as a temporary vocation until the work is completed.
That being the case, if God does allow that to happen, I am seeking a board of volunteer men to hold me accountable to certain output goals and to whom I can appeal in asking for occasional time off (for sickness or brief family vacations, etc.). I would also like to be able to share the output produced from this project with this board, for editorial review before it gets submitted to the publisher, and for other guidance on miscellaneous details.
